The Dutch Bros Kicker is one of the chain’s best-known Dutch Faves: a creamy breve coffee sweetened with Irish cream syrup. It is smooth, sweet and easy to drink, which is why it is a common first order. If you like it but want more caffeine, the Kicker is also the base of the much stronger Dutch Bros 911.

What Is in the Dutch Bros Kicker?
According to a Business Insider taste test, the Kicker is made with three things:
- Espresso (two shots in a small or medium, four in a large)
- Half-and-half (breve) instead of milk
- Irish cream syrup, a non-alcoholic flavor with notes of vanilla and cream
The result tastes like a sweet, rich iced coffee. Fans of sweet drinks tend to love it, while people who prefer a strong coffee taste often add an extra shot.

Dutch Bros Kicker Price and Calories
The Kicker comes in several versions. Estimated prices and calories from our Dutch Bros menu:
| Version | Est. price (small to large) | Calories |
|---|---|---|
| Kicker (hot or iced) | $4.99 to $6.49 | 280 to 500 |
| Kicker Cold Brew | $5.69 to $9.69 | 110 to 230 |
| Kicker Blended Freeze | $5.95 to $8.65 | 440 to 820 |
The Kicker Cold Brew is the lightest option because it uses cold brew instead of a full cup of breve. The Freeze is the richest.
How to Order the Dutch Bros Kicker
Pick hot, iced, cold brew or blended
Iced is the most common way to order it. Cold brew gives you a stronger coffee taste with fewer calories, and the Freeze turns it into a dessert-style blended drink.
Sugar-free Kicker
Ask for sugar-free Irish cream. It keeps the flavor while cutting most of the sugar. For more ideas, see our sugar-free Dutch Bros guide.
Dairy-free Kicker
Swap the breve for oat, almond or coconut milk at no extra cost. The Irish cream flavor is dairy-free, so this swap makes the whole drink dairy-free. Compare milks in our Dutch Bros milk options guide.
Make it stronger
Add an extra shot of espresso (extra charge), or go all the way and order the 9-1-1, which uses six shots in every size.
Kicker vs 9-1-1 vs Golden Eagle
| Drink | Flavor | Espresso | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kicker | Irish cream + breve | Standard for size | Sweet, creamy everyday coffee |
| 9-1-1 | Irish cream + breve | 6 shots, every size | Maximum caffeine |
| Golden Eagle | Vanilla + caramel + breve | Standard for size | Caramel lovers |
