Last summer, Dutch Bros® introduced Order Ahead, giving customers a fast and easy way to order drinks in the Dutch Bros® App and easily pick them up at their local shop. Curious how you can get in on the quick and easy mobile order experience? Check out the below tips and tricks to become a mobile order pro!
1. Looking to view all the options on the Dutch Bros menu? No problem here! You can click in and out of each of the drink types we have from seasonal drinks, iced coffees, blended freezes, Rebel energy drinks, lemonades and more! 💙
2. Customizing has never been so simple! To make a drink truly your own, just select your drink type from the menu and then scroll down to see all that can be adjusted to your liking! Want a sugar free drink? Change to an alternative milk? Less ice? You’ve got it! You can even check out more ways to customize under the “Customize More” button at the bottom of the screen. Think of the app as your canvas for crafting your perfect drink! ❤️
3. A secret menu? Say what! Check out some of our Top Secret Menu items by selecting a Rebel energy or Lemonade drink, click “View All” and scroll to the bottom to pick the sparkly Secret Menu icon! From there, you’ll unlock a vault of flavors that may just be your new fave! 💛
4. Looking for a drive thru coffee shop nearby to make a pit stop at? The Dutch Bros app makes it easy to find your closest location. Use Order Ahead to skip the line and grab your drink fast!
After you’ve made the drink fully your own, feel free to complete the mobile order process in the app and then head on over to the shop where you placed the order. The crew there will craft the drink with love and serve it up with a smile!

How to Use Dutch Bros Order Ahead
Order Ahead is built into the free Dutch Bros app for iPhone and Android. After you download the app and sign in to your Dutch Rewards account, you can place your order before you arrive and spend less time waiting in line.
- Open the Dutch Bros app and tap the option to start an order.
- Choose your Dutch Bros location from the list of nearby shops.
- Pick your drink, then choose the size, hot, iced or blended, your milk and any flavor add-ins.
- Review your order and pay in the app with a saved payment method or your Dutch Pass balance.
- Head to the shop and pick up your drink, following the pickup steps shown in the app for that location.
Order Ahead Tips
Place your order a few minutes before you arrive so your drink is fresh when you get there. If you are ordering for a group, double-check each drink and size before you pay, since changes are harder to make once the order is sent.
Orders placed through the app also earn Dutch Rewards points that can be redeemed for free drinks, and members can receive special offers inside the app.

Menu items, prices and seasonal drinks change by location, so the Dutch Bros app is the most reliable way to check what your local stand is serving today. You can also order ahead in the app and simply pick up your drink at the window.
Most Dutch Bros drinks come in small, medium and large, and many can be made hot, iced or blended. If you want less sugar, ask for fewer pumps of syrup or a sugar-free syrup where it is available. Dairy-free milks such as oat, almond or coconut milk can usually be swapped in as well.
